When booking a charter or utilizing our Service, you consent to these Terms. Should you not agree with any section of these terms, then you're prohibited from accessing the Service.

2. Service Overview

ScientificDiscoveryHub offers elite yacht charter services, which include, but are not limited to:

• Daily yacht rentals
• Sunset cruises
• Corporate retreats
• Private events
• Multi-day charters

All services are offered depending on availability and are subject to the weather. We hold the authority to adjust or cease the services without prior notice.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

To secure a charter reservation, you are required to:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Submit accurate and comprehensive details
• Make the necessary deposit as outlined in your reservation confirmation
• Accept these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Your reservation is only deemed confirmed after the payment is processed and you receive our written verification. We maintain the right to decline service to any individual at our sole discretion.

3.3 Availability

Charter availability is subject to vessel readiness and favorable weather conditions. We will earnestly attempt to accommodate your preferred scheduling.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

Pricing is presented in € and encompasses applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without prior notification.

4.2 Payment Schedule

• Deposit: 50% of the total cost of the charter required at the time of booking
• Balance: Payable 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the charter
• Supplementary charges (if applicable): Payable upon the charter's conclusion

4.3 Payment Methods

We take various payment methods such as major credit cards, bank transactions, and certified cheques. All payments are processed through encrypted, secure systems.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

• More than 72 hours before the departure time: Full refund minus transaction fees
• 24-72 hours before the departure: Refund of 50%
• Less than 24 hours before the departure: No refund will be issued

5.2 Weather Cancellations

If our captain deems the weather conditions to be hazardous, we will propose to:

• Reschedule the charter to an alternate date without any extra charge
• Issue a complete refund if rescheduling proves to be unfeasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

In case of mechanical difficulties with the assigned vessel, we will endeavor to offer an appropriate replacement. Should no substitute be available, we will provide a complete refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All guests are obliged to:

• Adhere to all instructions from the crew
• Use safety equipment as directed
• Disclose any health conditions that may impact their safety
• Remain within the authorized areas on the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

Certain items are prohibited on board including:

• Containers made of glass
• Banned substances
• Firearms or any form of weapons
• Excessive amounts of beverages (beyond a reasonable quantity for personal consumption)
• Animals (unless given permission in advance)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. Should a guest's actions pose a safety threat or cause disturbance for other patrons, we have the authority to cease the charter without issuing a refund.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our accountability is capped at the cost paid for the charter. We are not responsible for:

• Physical harm resulting from the negligence of a passenger
• Loss or destruction of personal belongings
• Indirect or secondary damages, as well as punitive damages
• Delays due to weather or situations beyond our control

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Our company holds extensive marine insurance for our fleet and operations. It's recommended that passengers have their own travel and personal insurance policies.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

By partaking in our yacht charters, you acknowledge that maritime activities come with inherent risks and you accept responsibility for your safety and actions.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

Operations such as itineraries, routes, or schedules may be adapted based on considerations regarding the weather, safety, or operational necessities. We will strive to provide comparable alternatives when necessary.

9. Force Majeure

Events beyond our control, inclusive of but not exclusive to the following, will not result in our liability for any resulting delays, cancellations, or changes:

• Extreme weather events
• Natural catastrophes
• Legislative mandates
• Ports being shut down
• Technical malfunctions

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your confidential data is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. With the use of our services, you comply with the collection and application of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials on our website, such as text, visuals, logos, and images, are secured by copyright and trademark legislations. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or derivation of works is prohibited without our express consent.

12. Governing Law
